AM Radio is currently developing a project in partnership with SCION where we’re transforming a chic 4 floor townhouse into a lifestyle gallery/residence by fusing original art and multi media elements. LOCATION, which will take place Thurs. March 20 through Fri. April 18 in the distinguished area of Mount Vernon at 17 West Chase St. in Baltimore, MD, will host 4-6 events along with the gallery being open 2-3 days during the week.
Thanks to everyone for coming out and making the Closing Night of LOCATION a success. The mild Spring weather helped to make this last event insane, with the party pretty much taking place both inside and street-side.
The evening brought out DJ sets by Jahsonic and Stylus of DC’s “Soul Controllers” crew, Nick “The Wonder,” who brought out “Legacy” of “The Justus League”, and DJ Fleg, who brought out the bboys.
AM Radio would like to thank SCION, our contributors, the participating artists, our attendees - including those that donated to our shoe drive (Big Shout to the raffle’s winner Jay Wiggins, which was announced on Saturday), and especially our staff who have worked tirelessly to make LOCATION one of the truly unique creative experiences of ‘08.

Throughout the duration of LOCATION, AM Radio has been accepting donations of new and “gently” used shoes and sneakers to benefit Baltimore-based nonprofit, The Carmelo Anthony Youth Development Center. As an incentive to donate shoes, sneaker designer, Grand High along with The Sneaker Suite, will raffle off a pair of customized sneakers at the closing event on Friday, April 18. It’s not too late to donate. Give a pair, win a pair.
Big shout to those that made it to “The Gift” this past Saturday. The event was titled as such because of the AM Radio x LOCATION tees (featured at top) we were gifting attendees. Thanks to DJ Eskimo for holding down the 3rd floor, while Nick “the wonder” (production w/Kev Brown) kept things moving in the “Inspiration Gallery” on the 1st. Also, big shout to our lovely hostesses and our bartender Tony.
